Pride and Prejudice

Pride and Prejudice written by Jane Austen is a love story that is beloved by many. The story is truly unique in numerous ways and love plays a huge factor in this novel. For example how the Bennet daughters are so eager to find true love and have a man to protect them and always be by there side. I believe that plenty of woman these days can relate to what Elizabeth was going through and how she did have some trust issues with Mr. Darcy. Mr. Darcy’s first impression was a little snobby and came off rude but then when he got to know Elizabeth he then began to fall in love with her and knew she was the one for him. Elizabeth’s personality is smart, witty, intelligent and sarcastic and out of all of the Bennet daughters Elizabeth is my favorite character. I also think that Elizabeth’s personality does catch other characters off guard and that is what I enjoy about her character. I was confused about Elizabeth’s first decision to decline to Mr. Darcy’s hand in marriage the first time he asked because he clearly was in love with Elizabeth and the readers could tell that she was to but something just felt a little off to Elizabeth. The eldest daughter Jane was clearly in love with Mr. Bennet and he was also in love with Jane. Many of the characters loved Jane because she was the prettiest of all the sisters. She also had her ups and downs with Mr. Bennet and then they soon came to realization that they were in love with one another. I really did enjoy the story and the outcome of Pride and Prejudice.
